Meet Your Boot Camp Instructors
 

Stephanie Normand teaches at Cottonwood Creek Park (5:30-6:30am) and Poinsettia Park (8:45-9:45am).
She is certified in Athletic Training, Personal Fitness Training, Massage Therapy, EFI Gravity, and CPR. Stephanie holds a B.S degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Quinnipiac University. Stephanie has experience from being an intern with San Diego Spirit (Women’s Professional Soccer Team),
an athletic training student with the Yale University football and ice hockey teams, an athletic trainer with Quinnipiac’s men’s ice hockey team as well as their women’s softball and basketball teams. In addition, she has been working as a Personal Fitness Trainer in San Diego County for the last 5 years.
Stephanie has been a competitive athlete for 16 years. In addition to being a member of Quinnipiac University’s women’s division I soccer team, she played soccer in high school, where she was selected as an “All Western-Mass” and “All State” Soccer Player in 1998. Stephanie has also achieved “green cordon” in Capoeira, Afro-Brazilian Martial Arts.

She brings over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry and a passion for helping others pursue and achieve their fitness goals while effectively leading and motivating them to a healthier, more fulfilling way of life.



Jill Kenny teaches at Valley Middle School (5:30-6:30am) and Holiday Park (8:45-9:45am).
Jill has a strong fitness background, which includes 6 years of martial arts (Judo, Kung-Fu & Tae Kwon Do), tennis, field hockey & soccer. She loves fitness so much that she decided to get into the personal training field in order to help others achieve their health & fitness goals.

Jill is certified as a personal fitness trainer through National Endurance Sports Trainers Association, and is also certified in indoor cycling, kickboxing and CPR. She has also been instructing boot camp classes in Carlsbad since 2006.

Jill loves to sweat about half as much as she loves to make others sweat, so once you've made the decision to make a lifestyle change to improve your mind, body and spirit, she would be honored to be a part of that phenomenally positive and rewarding experience of helping YOU achieve your health & fitness goals.

Karen Pietsch teaches at Buena Vista Park (5:30-6:30am), Las Posas Park (8:45-9:45am) & Cannon Park (5:45-6:45pm).
Karen is certified as a fitness trainer by three national fitness organizations; NASM, AFAA, and NCSF. She has a bachelor’s degree in pre-physical therapy from Covenant College in GA, and is certified in CPR. Karen has worked as a personal fitness trainer at 24-Hour Fitness for 3 years, and has logged in over 2500 training hours.

Karen played basketball, softball, and volleyball in high school, and was on a year-round swim team for 3 years. Fitness has always been a way of life for Karen, and she plans to keep it that way.

Her goal for campers is to work their butts off, and have lots of fun in the process.  Come join her team of women that are making a positive choice to stand above the crowd and make a lifestyle change to better their bodies inside and out.

Jackie Knieper teaches at Ronald Reagan Park in Temecula at 5:30-6:30am, 8:45-9:45am, & 5:45-6:45pm.
Jackie is certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer from NCCPT, and is also certified in CPR and APEX Nutrition. She is currently furthering her education by studying at the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Jackie worked as a Certified Fitness Instructor at Elite Fitness Spas from 2004 to 2007.

Jackie has been personally active in fitness since she was 16 years old. She decided to get into Personal Training when she realized how gratifying it is to help motivate others to achieve their health and fitness goals. Jackie believes in living your life to its fullest and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
 

Jackie’s goal for her boot camper is motivate and instruct them to successfully and safely achieve their health and fitness goals. If your goal is to stand out from the crowd by leading a healthy and fit lifestyle, then come and join her team and you will not be disappointed.
